Can Dwinity Access My Data?

No, Dwinity has no technical access to your data. Your data is highly encrypted, fragmented, and stored across a decentralized network—not on Dwinity servers. Like a puzzle, it is distributed across independent nodes, and only you hold the cryptographic key (Seed Phrase) to reassemble and decrypt it.

Important: Dwinity has no access to your cryptographic key and cannot view or decrypt your data. This also means that if you lose your key, Dwinity cannot recover your data. Keep it safe!

How Secure Is My Access to My Data?

Your data is always safe and accessible. With your blockchain wallet and its associated wallet address, which is linked to your storage, you have direct access at all times. Thanks to decentralized storage and multiple redundancies, there is no single point of failure.

Important: Only you hold the cryptographic key to your wallet, which is linked to your storage — keep it secure!

How Can I Download My Data?

Downloading your data is quick, easy, and secure:

1. Log in with your blockchain wallet linked to your storage.
2. Access your stored data through the Dwinity interface.
3. Select the files you need and start the download.

Important: Only the correct wallet address and your cryptographic key grant access to your data. Keep it safe!

Lost Your Device? How to Recover Your Data

Your access remains secure – as long as you can restore your wallet.

1. New Device? Install a compatible wallet app.
2. Restore Wallet using your Seed Phrase (cryptographic key).
3. Log in and access your data as usual.

Important: Without your Seed Phrase, recovery is impossible, as Dwinity has no access to your data. Keep it safe!
